Aster flowers are the epitome for the month of September. So much so that florists call the flowers simply September. A typical seasonal bouquet during these early autumn days just has to contain aster. Aster flowers take their name from the Greek word for star; the flowers look like many rayed stars and they are the stars of the autumn flower season, too.
