The vast majority of conifers are evergreen and they are pretty much guaranteed to add shape and colour to your garden, apart from the fact that this effect will last for the whole year, they are also quite cheap plants and are readily available in all sorts of shapes and sizes. They are also quite easy to look after (as long as planted in the right place of the garden) and all they may require is a little pruning, watering and more care during the frosty periods.
