Lavender is one of the most famous plants there is. It is a quite hardy shrub that enjoys the sun, or even partial shade, as well as a well drained soil. This particular type is the most popular in our florist shops and gets its name from the ‘fat’ flower heads that emerge at the top. Most lavender will grow up to 45cm and will need to be cut back and trimmed as new growth will not come from old wood.
