The book itself is a limited print run, launched in October 2025, and brings together 21 journalistic chronicles told from deeply human and feminine perspectives. Weaving multiple voices, it narrates the past and present of cocoa and its origins along Ecuador’s coast. Through interviews with archaeologists, historians, cocoa producers, chocolate makers, gastronomy leaders, women at the heart of cocoa, and international experts, Tierra Hermosa celebrates the people, knowledge, and traditions that have shaped the world of chocolate.
Through tender and evocative storytelling, the book explores cocoa’s impact on Ecuador’s economy, history, and soul, moving from the personal to the universal and highlighting the lives connected to this treasured crop.
We operate a seven day delivery service in London, with same day orders taken until 5 PM, Monday to Sunday inclusive. For Flower Delivery to the UK (outside of London), we operate a Tuesday to Saturday next-day delivery service for orders taken by 3pm on the previous day. Your bouquet will arrive in a recycled cardboard box, in which you will find the dedication, the freshest flowers and a bag of nutrients so that your bouquet lasts much longer. Did you know that we have also redesigned the box with our new image? The truth is that it does not seem ethical to us to throw away the old ones that we still have in our workshops, so you may receive one or the other. Of course, both are pretty and will protect your order.
