Flowers for Business
It may, or may not be a well known fact, but here at Flower Station we really enjoy creating flowers for businesses, or the so called ‘contract flowers’. Yes, it is true, this really can be painful at times of vase cleaning, vase breakages and deliveries themselves pose an altogether different challenge to us. But, ask any florist in any of our shops and you will see that making up and designing contract flowers is also a lot of fun. Among the first things that comes to mind is the fact that every week is very different to the last one and we always look never to repeat ourselves and, in this way, to keep our customers interested in our design as much as possible. It is of little wonder to see why every week our wonderful florists are complemented by restaurants, big and small offices, hotels, airline companies and many others on keeping their displays fresh and always innovative.
An example of a recent successful correspondence with a new customer can be seen below:
Dear Alex,
Thank you so much for taking so much time out of your day to talk to me and my assistants today. I sincerely appreciated your honest and reliable reviews of our offices and especially recommendations in how to change our current setting towards a better standard. Your advice here was very helpful and it really has given us all here a new perspective on available opportunities.
I especially appreciate your offer to send us a sample, which would show some of these ideas in action. I plan to follow up on your offer and am still in deep shock at the value of what you’re providing my company with. Needless to say I will use my networking resources to recommend you for any future opportunities.
Again, thank you so much for your help. I greatly appreciate the assistance you have provided me and am looking forward to a very long relationship with Flower Station.
Yours
Candy
One of our senior managers and main floral designers – Hashimi Kanokhon – always talks about injection of nature with fresh flowers into a particular business, or even a home and how best to achieve this. In her opinion, the challenge is never ending and whether we’re designing a single front facing contemporary piece for an upmarket hair salon, or whether it’s a dressing for a whole block or building of a big company in the city, you always have to be on your toes and always, always, always keep in mind the customer you’re dealing with. It is, of course, a challenge that we seem to be particularly good at and the reason is most probably our long-term team that we have kept and built over the last 10 years or so. Without this, in Hashimi’s opinion, it is just not possible to build a good flower contract business.
