Founded by Susana Cárdenas in 2017, Cárdenas Chocolate celebrates Ecuador’s rich cacao heritage. With deep roots in the Manabí province, Susana’s passion for uncovering forgotten cacao varieties led her to create artisanal chocolates that preserve both flavour and tradition. Working closely with local cacao farmers, she focuses on sustainable practices and empowering communities. They are dedicated to regenerating vintage cacao plantations and ensuring the continued cultivation of fine flavour Nacional cacao, making every piece a true tribute to Ecuador’s cacao history and its future.
