Wedding Flowers and Experiences
As the ‘so called’ wedding season draws to its absolute climax in July and August, we can report that, overall, it has been a huge success. Of course, we have faced a lot of problems and have, yet again, learned through them constantly and are confident of being better for it next year. One of these problems is navigating through London and the near counties on Saturday and Sunday mornings, meeting deadlines and decorating different venues and locations, with different florist teams working at the same time.
Wedding Flowers
As we’re living in strange economic times that are sometimes turbulent, it is no wander to see more and more demonstrations and marches happening through this great city of ours. I even feel like I’m living in France sometimes. And on a weekend when we have five to ten weddings in Central London this can be somewhat of a hindrance. Because of this we have incorporated daily traffic news feeds that our delivery controller looks at constantly and diverts drivers away from any hot spots that make one’s journey into a bit of a nightmare – this new incorporation is becoming a bit of a winner for us and so far it’s proving to be quite useful. I am sure there are delivery companies out there who are much better equipped to deal with problems like this, but I can confidently say that we are learning and getting better by a minute.
A good thing about all the weddings we have done is all the different photos we have taken too and I am very pleased to say that we will put these on our website the first chance we get; in the meantime I am giving you here a sneak preview of some of these beauties. For our followers on Facebook and Twitter you may have seen some of these already. All comments are, as always, more than welcome.
Looking towards the future, it will not be enough to offer wedding services for lavish, or even simple weddings in terms of better technology and better forms. The human touch will still be needed and one will always have to get on the same page with the to-be-newly-weds, but nevertheless we are confident that all of these things will certainly help and make our wedding experiences that much better and safer.
Another trend that’s catching on lately, again largely thanks to the economic times we live in, is that we’re seeing more and more people getting involved into their weddings personally in order to save a buck or two. Far from discouraging this trend, we are over the moon with it and we always do say that this personal involvement is what separates great wedding events from merely good ones. So whether you’re designing the table name cards yourself, bringing in your own candle sets, making your talented music friends into your wedding band; we feel that all of these things ultimately help and do make your wedding that extra special. For more wedding ideas we also strongly encourage you to read a few wedding magazines before you come and see one of our wedding specialists.
