Weddings Galore, 6th of August 2012

In the early hours of this Saturday, the 6th of August, girls in our Baker Street branch had completed four quite large weddings that were thereafter delivered to different parts of London. The undertaking was quite large for just a single florist branch, as added to this they also had to take care of other private bouquet orders, contracts, as well as other customers popping into the shop on a continuous basis. Of course a lot of preparatory work had gone on beforehand on Thursday the 4th and Friday the 5th of August, but nevertheless we had felt very strongly about the overall performance and wanted to reward our girls with a little blog and a huge thank you for a job very well done.

Needless to say it’s good for our very loyal online customers to see some of the talented faces behind the beautiful designs that leave our shops and we do hope to keep this trend up in our upcoming blogs. This is also a result of many people emailing us in order to obtain a little more inside info about our shops and the technicians inside them. Please do keep all of your amazing emails coming; they are a joy to read and do remind me that someone is actually reading our blogs, which encourages more blogs and better ideas in return.

Funnily enough we have another crazy weekend coming up this week, but so far we are just happy with the result from the previous week. For the girls and boys preparing the weddings this Saturday – stop reading and concentrate on your work now ; ).

Bay trees and natural 'bouquet' style designs

As many of you know, and I can speak freely on behalf of the whole company here, I and every single florist in our company love what we do. To get a chance to work with some of the great clients we have week in and week out is an absolute privilege and one I wouldn’t gladly give up. To see the florists in the shop working away is also an absolute privilege and every day we try to challenge each other to come up with a design that’s a little fresher, funky, or simply more fun.

I often get a lot of compliments from our wedding designer girls who enjoy working and thank our clients for being quite relaxed, open to their ideas and even encouraging them to go above and beyond the traditional, or even merely modern designs.

Our drivers who had to multi, multi drop on the day were on the ball as well, but this was the day for our ‘girls’.
